    Chicken Wing Marinade Recipes

The secret to a perfectly juicy, yet gloriously flavoursome wing is the marinade. It’s always clear when you’ve put that little extra love into your prep and given plenty of time for the ingredients to infuse. Not sure where to start? Take a look at our super easy yet mouth-watering chicken wing marinade recipes!

    Spicy Chicken Wings Marinade

At our flagship restaurant in Milton Keynes, we love to turn up the heat – trust us, our signature Joker sauce comes with a warning – so it was only fair that we started with a spicy chicken wings marinade.

Creating the perfect spicy marinade is all about fusing heat with a subtle smokey taste, and this recipe gets it just right! Simply mix paprika, cayenne pepper, ginger and garlic powder with your favourite hot sauce (sriracha is always a winner) and a dash of olive oil. Balance the flavours to taste, rub over your chicken and leave to marinade for around two hours.

Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings Marinade

A home-cooked favourite that had our stomachs rumbling just watching the tutorial video from Terri-Ann’s Kitchen! The secret behind this salt and pepper chicken recipe is the flavourful marinade of thyme lemon, bay salt, black pepper and soy sauce. She also applies an optional green seasoning sauce and uses similar ingredients for the garnish (with peppers, spring onions, garlic and butter).

Allow the chicken to marinate in the fridge for half an hour before covering the chicken in cornstarch and frying it in vegetable oil. Once cooked, fry the ingredients together for the garnish and toss the cooked chicken in with it for the perfect dish.
