Our favourite twist on the classic BBQ sauce recipe for chicken wings is to mix barbecue and bourbon (yes, bourbon), along with salt and pepper, before pouring it over your chicken wings. These wings will need slow-cooking on high until cooked through for around 2.5 to 3 hours for maximum flavour, before covering in this delicious sauce.

Blue cheese sauce doesn’t just belong in the American diners – who here doesn’t love a side of blue cheese dip with their wings?
A great side serving for any sports game showing, the blue cheese sauce also goes well with other snacks (we’re thinking celery sticks and lots of fries). A beautifully crafted combination of buttermilk, soured cream, garlic, blue cheese and sweet paprika will give you the perfect blend of sweet and savoury.

You don’t need to slave away in the kitchen all day either. This sauce is so quick and easy you’ll be ready to smother your wings in it in just 5-10 minutes. All you need to do is combine hot pepper sauce, butter, vinegar, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, white vinegar and Worcestershire sauce and simmer over a medium heat.
Not in the mood for loads of washing up post-dinner? These delicious soy sauce chicken wings from Oh My Food Recipes can be made from just one instant pot! Talk about convenience.
You only need a handful of ingredients too to get the perfect flavour combination; just make sure green onion, ginger, garlic, soy sauce and brown sugar are all on your shopping list (plus water and sesame oil). This tantalising mix will really bring out all of the tastiest flavours from the East and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

The Cookie Rookie’s recipe is giving us all the cravings with their delicious recipe for Thai chicken wings with peanut sauce. Peanut sauce is the perfect selection for those with a sweet tooth, while also balancing it out with a slight hint of bitterness with each bite. A winner when poured over skewered meats and chicken wings, peanut sauce also makes for a great dipping sauce on the side for fresh vegetables or other side dishes.
Warning – the peanut sauce is slightly on the spicy side!
If you’re not someone who can usually handle the heat, we’d recommend opting for a more mild chicken wing sauce recipe. Our menu caters for everyone; have you tried our Prince wings yet at our restaurant in Milton Keynes? Our Buffalo Mild Wings are packed with a ridiculous amount of flavour but will keep you calm and collected (instead of needing to down glasses of milk).
Want to make them for yourselves? We love this recipe from Delish’s Youtube channel if you want to make your own buffalo style wings (tip: use a mild sauce if you don’t want your tastebuds to tingle!)
Sweet Cs Designs have cracked the key to keto with this recipe for a low carb cajun sauce for your chicken wings.
The secret behind the best baked, crispy chicken is to make sure you have plenty of cajun seasoning and start by patting the wings completely dry before you put them in the oven to bake. If you don’t pat them down to soak up the excess water from the wings or the packaging, this can create more of a steaming process when they’re cooking instead of getting that nice crispy coating on the wing.

Everyone loves a classic chilli lime sauce for chicken wings, and this is yet another one that’s so simple to make. The best chilli lime chicken wings are baked, but if you’re just looking to make the sauce, you only need minimal ingredients to create a burst of flavours.
All you need to do is mix chilli garlic sauce, melted butter, honey, lime zest and fresh lime juice together until it’s all fully combined, and then you can brush it onto cooked chicken. Read the full recipe here at The Recipe Critic.
If you’re looking for a quick fix for your next takeaway in Milton Keynes, we have our own tangy twist – come and try our lemon and pepper flavoured wings (available as grilled, boneless, vegan or buttermilk fried wings)!
We’re running to the kitchen to whip up this ranch sauce for our chicken wings!
Ranch is another easy one to create if you’re low on time: it’s made from a quick mix of mayonnaise, soured cream, dried parsley, dill, chives, garlic powder, onion powder, milk, lemon juice (milk and lemon juice are an alternative to buttermilk) and salt to taste. A creamy sauce that is not only perfect for chicken wings but also for a range of other side snacks that you might be serving, ranch really is one of the most versatile sauces for your next sports viewing party.

A home-cooked favourite that had our stomachs rumbling just watching the tutorial video from Terri-Ann’s Kitchen! The secret behind this salt and pepper chicken recipe is the flavourful marinade of thyme lemon, bay salt, black pepper and soy sauce. She also applies an optional green seasoning sauce and uses similar ingredients for the garnish (with peppers, spring onions, garlic and butter).
Allow the chicken to marinate in the fridge for half an hour before covering the chicken in corn starch and frying in vegetable oil. Once cooked, fry the ingredients together for the garnish and toss the cooked chicken in with it for the perfect dish.
